Founded in 1970 under the name of Proctor Builders becoming a limited company in 2003 under the new name of A.J. Proctor Builders Limited.
At A.J. Proctor Builders Limited we understand the importance of listening to the particular requirements of individual Clients, Architects and their appointed Consultants and place great emphasis on a partnership approach to achieve the end result required by all concerned. The majority or our work emanates from recommendations by Clients and Architects.
We place great store in integrity & quality of workmanship and so insist that our workforce are fully trained or are on NVQ apprenticeships through the Construction Skills Training Board as well as having on-going work based training.
A.J. Proctor Builders Limited undertakes a wide variety of projects, mainly domestic, in the locale and further afield. We have been called upon to work not only in England but in Scotland & France also.
The different types of projects include new build in stone, brick, timber frame etc, specialising in traditional green oak frame, complete cottage renovations, refurbishments, conversions as well as alterations, kitchens, bathrooms, repairs and maintenance. We are General and Specialist Builders.
A.J. Proctor Builders Limited is a full member of the Federation of Master Builders. We are also members of Trustmark as well as the NHBC and can offer a ten year guarantee for new builds and the Trustmark warranty for refurbishments, maintenance and improvements work if required.
In 2004 we won the Master Builder of the Year,
Certificate of Excellence Category 1 – New Homes, Regional Award (which
covers Cornwall to Gloucester), for a new build in East Devon. This lead to
our Company being featured in the national Homebuilding and Renovation
magazine for February 2005. We have since been nominated for another award
in 2006 for an Oak Framed Extension in Dorset. |
